Attention Students:

The National Association for College Admission Counseling invites SMHS sophomores, juniors and seniors to the National College Fair coming to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.  The dates are February 8th & 9th.  Please visit www.gotomyncf.com to view colleges that will be in attendance and to register.  Please see Mrs. Baker if you have questions.

Attention Juniors and Sophomores:

The guidance office will be offering the PSATs on Wednesday, October 12th.  The PSATs are mainly for juniors, however sophomores are more than welcome to take the assessment.  Typically students must test in the 11th grade to qualify for scholarships and recognition, but testing in the 10th grade provides early feedback while there is still time to plan and prepare.

To sign-up for the PSATs please come to the guidance office for a registration packet.  Tests are limited.

Attention Juniors and Senior Leaders:

Are you interested in the World Affairs Institute for Student Leaders?  On Friday, November 18, 2011, the Rotary Club will be sponsoring two Saltsburg students to attend this institute called “A Call for Change in the Middle East and Implications for U.S. Foreign Policy.”
