Experience

        I am thrilled to be joining the Saltsburg Elementary family as the new building

        principal for 2008-2009.  Although new to the position, I am not new to the school

        district.  I began my educational endeavors as a student in the Blairsville-

        Saltsburg School District, graduating from Saltsburg Junior-Senior High School. 

        I was hired as a science teacher at my alma mater after earning my teaching

        degree at IUP.  During my time in the classroom, I served in a variety of

        capacities from cheerleading coach and junior class advisor to Science

        Chairman and Assistant to the Principal.  This is the fifteenth year that I have had

        the privilege of serving the students and families of our wonderful community.  I

        am honored to have been chosen to continue my service to this district by serving

        as the Principal at the Saltsburg Elementary School. I look forward to working with

        our staff to further our shared vision of making SES the best place possible for

        our students to learn as they develop a strong work ethic and a lasting passion for

        learning.
